Markdown Notes

Keep outlines, research and production notes beside your story files. StoryFlow Editor's Markdown editor lets you format a note as you write and inspect its source when you need it.

Write and Format

Choose Add → Markdown in the Content Browser, then open the file. Use the editor's formatting controls for headings, lists, tables and other common Markdown content. You can undo a change while editing and save the note with your other project files.

Source Pane

Open the Source pane to work with the Markdown text directly. This is useful when you want precise control over a link, table or formatting mark. Return to the formatted view to read the result as a document.

Links and Media

Use [[...]] links to connect notes and other project files. Insert an image with the picker or drop one into the editor. StoryFlow Editor tracks supported file references when linked files move or are renamed. You can also place Markdown notes on a Canvas Board and edit a card there.

Find Your Way Around

The outline helps you jump between headings. Use Find and Replace for repeated text, focus mode when you want fewer distractions and zoom to set a comfortable reading size. Word and character counts help you keep track of longer notes.
