Canvas Boards
A Canvas Board is a freeform space for planning a story. Put files and notes beside one another, group related ideas and draw connections between them.
Create a Board
Choose Add → Canvas in the Content Browser and open the board. Boards are project files, so you can keep separate spaces for a chapter, a cast or a production task.
Add Cards and Connections
Add cards for project content such as Markdown notes, images, audio and characters. Arrange them on the canvas, group related cards and connect them to show a relationship. A Markdown card can be edited directly on the board. Open a linked file when you need its full editor.
The board supports search and undo while you work. File references follow supported rename and delete operations, which helps a board stay useful as the project changes.
Organize Your Work
Use a board to map character relationships, gather scene references or keep research close to the scripts it informs. For longer notes, use the Markdown editor; for values scripts need during play, use Data Assets.
A Planning Space
Boards help you organize work inside the editor. They are not part of a game engine's runtime export.
