About StoryFlow Editor

StoryFlow Editor was born in March 2024 from a solo developer with extensive Unreal Engine expertise and a passion for interactive storytelling. After working on numerous game projects, a critical gap became clear: there was no powerful, engine-agnostic narrative design tool that could integrate seamlessly with any game engine.

Existing solutions fell short — some locked to specific engines, others text-based without visual scripting, and most not built for modern workflows. StoryFlow Editor changes this by offering a feature-rich visual scripting platform that works independently across Unreal Engine, Unity, Godot, and custom engines.

The vision from day one: create a modern, future-proof solution for the age of AI that empowers developers, writers, and narrative designers alike. With universal data formats, robust APIs, and an intuitive visual interface, StoryFlow Editor bridges creative vision and technical implementation.

Our development roadmap is shaped by community feedback. Discord serves as our main community hub where users share ideas, vote on features, report bugs, and help guide the future of StoryFlow Editor. If you're interested in influencing the direction of the tool, we encourage you to join the conversation.

With a background in both web and game development, I've used plenty of storytelling tools in my game projects and understood their limitations. I am building StoryFlow Editor using that experience to create a better solution for everyone.
